Mr. Aplington focuses his practice in the area of
general business litigation, with particular focus on
public entity and real estate litigation. Mr.
Aplington represents clients in all aspects of
litigation in municipal, state and federal trial and
appellate courts. Mr. Aplington also counsels clients
on a wide range of transactional business issues,
including corporate structure, commercial leases and
other contractual arrangements.
Mr. Aplington served as a Lecturer in the Washington
University Graduate Program in Nonprofit Management
during the 2007-08, 2008-09, and 2009-2010 academic
years. Mr. Aplington served as a director of the
Christian Activity Center in East St. Louis from 2007
to 2010 and as corporate secretary and advisory board
president in 2009. He continues his affiliation with
the organization by providing pro bono legal services.
