Mr. Begian practices in all facets of traditional labor and employment law with an emphasis in litigation before state and federal courts and the National Labor Relations Board (NLRB). In representing and serving the firm’s clientele, Mr. Begian relies upon his legal education, his tenure as a field attorney with Region 14 of the NLRB and twenty-five (25) years of experience in private practice.

In the arena of traditional labor law, Mr. Begian provides multiple services representing employers in proceedings before the NLRB, including NLRB unfair labor practice proceedings, statutory priority cases such as secondary boycotts and work jurisdictional disputes and NLRB representation proceedings, inclusive of post-election challenge and objections proceedings. With respect to established bargaining relationships, Mr. Begian has a broad range of experience in negotiating collective bargaining agreements, providing advice regarding strikes and lockouts, obtaining appropriate injunctive relief and representing companies in arbitration with respect to a broad range of contractual issues.

Mr. Begian also handles all facets of employment law, including employment discrimination claims arising under Title VII, the Civil Rights Act of 1991, the Americans with Disabilities Act, the Age Discrimination in Employment Act, the Fair Labor Standards Act and the Family Medical Leave Act. In providing such representation, Mr. Begian has appeared and litigated matters in state and federal courts and before administrative agencies throughout the country. In addition, Mr. Begian provides daily advice to clients on employment related matters on personnel policies, daily human resource issues, employment contracts, restrictive covenants, severance agreements and employee handbooks.
