Mr. Schraeder who has been in practice over 35 years, concentrates his multi-state practice in public sector labor and employment law, not for profit corporate law, and local and school governmental law. He also serves as defense counsel for numerous governmental agencies. He is general counsel for the Missouri Association of Counties, the Missouri Police Chiefs Association, the Missouri Public Employers’ Labor Relations Association, and is an instructor for several universities, numerous public sector entities and associations representing public employers. Mr. Schraeder formerly served as the Missouri Director of Labor Relations responsible for all labor relations policies in the executive branch of state government with jurisdiction over 45,000 employees.
Mr. Schraeder has served as a labor relations instructor and a lecturer
at various state universities and colleges in Missouri and Illinois,
and on national panels on labor management relations, collective
bargaining, and personnel matters. He has authored numerous articles
for national and state publications on employment law and collective
bargaining issues. He has served as an instructor for the Missouri Bar
Association. Mr. Schraeder serves as President of the Missouri Council of School Attorneys. He presents seminars for the Missouri Municipal League and the Missouri Municipal Attorneys Association. He formerly served as a municipal judge for Ellisville, Missouri. He is a hearing officer for the Missouri Department of Elementary & Secondary Education for disability service challenges.
