Ms. Bregande practices in the area of labor and employment
law. Ms. Bregande advises clients regarding all aspects
of the National Labor Relations Act. Ms. Bregande counsels
management clients regarding union organizing campaigns,
union avoidance and unfair labor practice allegations.
Ms. Bregande routinely handles trials and appeals before
the National Labor Relations Board's tribunals and various
United States District Courts, as well as the United States
Court of Appeals. Ms. Bregande handles jurisdictional
dispute injunctions and strike injunctions in addition
to advising clients during strikes and picketing. Ms.
Bregande routinely prepares and handles union grievance
arbitrations. In the employment law area, Ms. Bregande
counsels clients regarding general employment matters,
drafts employment policies/handbooks and handles discrimination
claims. Ms. Bregande represents clients in Equal Employment
Opportunity Commission investigations and Missouri Commission
on Human Rights investigations. Ms. Bregande has appeared
before the Missouri and Illinois Divisions of Employment
Security. Ms. Bregande has served as lead counsel in race
discrimination and sexual harassment cases before the
United States District Court for the Eastern District
of Missouri and the United States District Court for the
Southern District of Illinois.
