Our commitment to cultivate and maintain a diverse workforce remains at the core of our recruiting, retention and promotion efforts as we strive to maintain a firm culture that taps into the potential of every team member.  The firm’s Committee on Diversity and Inclusion seeks to facilitate the firm’s ongoing and continuing efforts to foster a culture and atmosphere of mutual respect, and to attract, retain, and promote outstanding lawyers and administrative staff from all backgrounds, perspectives, and abilities.

Our Committee will accomplish these tasks in the following ways:

  • Consult with team members and review outside sources on issues of diversity and inclusion;
  • Foster regular and clear communication within the firm regarding issues of diversity and inclusion;
  • Provide regular training on issues relating to diversity and inclusion;
  • Support an anonymous method of reporting issues of diversity and inclusion;
  • Encourage the dedication of manpower and resources to improve diversity and inclusion in the workplace, including through the firm’s recruitment efforts; and
  • Periodically assess the success and need for improvement in the firm’s efforts toward greater diversity and inclusion.

In this way, the Committee hopes to enhance and improve the experience of all team members, and encourage and recognize their contributions and successes, in an inclusive, cohesive, and collegial environment.
