PRACTICE AREAS

(PART TIME OR INTERIM)

As your part time or interim, in-house, general counsel the Lowenbaum Partnership will provide your company with legal advice from a practical and business perspective. Initially, our attorneys will read your industry's trade publications, the company's website, press releases, annual reports, meet with your decision makers to understand your company's business philosophy, risk tolerance, aggressiveness, etc. and otherwise become familiar with your company, as if we were your employees.

You can have the benefit of an in-house general counsel, who understands your company, just like large publicly held companies have, but on a part time basis, as and when needed, and your legal matters will be monitored and supervised internally and professionally.

We can be an integral part of your management team and participate in internal meetings and strategic planning sessions, so that we have knowledge of your overall business activities and goals when we advise on and formulate preventive programs and solutions to legal issues. We can review your existing policies, procedures, contracts, etc. in order to increase your legal rights, prevent legal problems and minimize lawsuits from vendors, customers and employees.

  • We can interact with and monitor any other law firms you use as outside counsel to determine the proper strategy, staffing and fees on each matter and to prevent any unnecessary internal meetings, research, memos, depositions, etc.

  • We will consider the non-legal effects of legal issues and decisions on your company’s financial statements, public relations (both within your industry and otherwise), internal relationships and perceptions, etc.

  • We will save the time of your company’s executives who are now responsible for your legal matters and deal with your outside counsel and who may not be trained or experienced in handling legal matters, like the responsibility or the legal projects themselves, and/or give the legal matters the proper time or priority.
