Benjamin R. Representing businesses in all aspects of interactions with employees, Whitney P. Cooney defends cases ranging from claims of harassment, discrimination and retaliation to discharge in violation of public policy and violations of other employment-related federal and state laws. Whitney has federal jury trial experience and has litigated cases on a local, state, and national level. Whitney also frequently handles Charges of Discrimination pending before the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, Missouri Commission on Human Rights, Illinois Department of Human Rights, and other state agencies.
With her experience in employment-related litigation and arbitration, Whitney helps employers avoid potential problems by providing legal guidance on a broad range of employment issues, including employee discipline and termination, hiring decisions, non-compete and non-solicitation agreements, wage payment and leave of absence practices, FMLA compliance, unemployment determinations, and handbook policy and procedure development.
Dannae L. Delano concentrates her practice in employee benefits, executive compensation and tax matters. Focusing on comprehensive, practical and innovative employee benefits solutions for all types of employers, she counsels clients regarding all aspects of employee benefits design, implementation, termination, and compliance for the full spectrum of benefits programs including: retirement plans, health and welfare plans and executive and incentive compensation arrangements.
She also has considerable experience in integrating benefits in acquisitions and mergers and qualified retirement plan corrections. With simple, effective communication and timely response, she ensures that complicated compliance issues are easily understood and solutions may be immediately implemented.

Heidi L. Eckert represents clients in all aspects of employment, labor and civil rights disputes. She is actively involved in all aspects of litigation, and has arbitrated and mediated numerous matters, as well as tried cases in both state and federal courts.
Heidi assists clients with employment matters including those that involve discrimination, harassment, disability and retaliation claims. She has defended claims in state and federal courts as well as before governmental agencies.
In addition to litigating labor and employment matters, Heidi counsels employers on a variety of employee issues and advises them on developing and implementing processes consistent with their business objectives and applicable labor laws. Eckert also handles matters involving civil rights claims, the majority of which are defended in federal court.

Dave started his career on the enforcement side of law, serving as a police officer for the City of St. Charles, MO, and as a Medicolegal Death Investigator for the City of St. Louis. Graduating with honors from the Saint Louis University School of Law, Dave was named to the Order of the Woolsack and Alpha Sigma Nu and has earned Academic Excellence Awards in Contracts, Civil Procedure, Alternative Dispute Resolution, and Unions and Their Members.
Adam D. Hirtz is a trial attorney representing businesses in employment and commercial litigation in both state and federal courts throughout the country. In his employment litigation practice, Adam has handled scores of cases to enforce non-compete agreements and to prevent the dissemination of trade secrets by former employees; he is experienced in representing clients in cases of alleged harassment, discrimination and retaliation; and he regularly assists clients with issues of OSHA compliance, inspections and resolving or contesting OSHA citations. In his commercial litigation practice, Adam defends clients in disputes involving fiduciary duties, leases and contracts, real estate transactions, construction projects, product safety, fraud, negligence and insurance coverage.
