When not working on behalf of his clients, Dave’s interests turn to words and music. Peter Martin, Christian McBride, Wynton Marsalis, Art Blakey, Miles Davis, John Coltrane, Billie Holiday, Clark Terry, Dianne Reeves, Oscar Peterson - the list of Dave’s jazz favorites goes on and on. Dave enjoys reading and names Thomas Jefferson’s “I cannot live without books” as one of his favorite quotes. If he weren’t practicing law, he would want to own a jazz club in Chicago, New York City or somewhere in the Mediterranean.
