Thomas R. Chibnall represents and counsels businesses of all sizes in a variety of employment-related matters before both state and federal courts, as well as administrative agencies, including the

  • Missouri Department of Labor
  • the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC)
  • the National Labor Relations Board (NLRB), and
  • the Missouri Commission on Human Rights.

Tom also

  • participates in and contributes to union-avoidance campaigns and union training for corporate clients.
  • represents and assists clients in investigations, complaints and appeals addressing environmental and work safety conditions under the federal and state Occupational Safety and Health Acts (OSHA) and regulations.
  • assists with client immigration needs, including obtaining H-1B visas and green cards for employees.
  • handles matters involving discrimination, retaliation, non-compete and non-solicitation agreements, employee benefits, contracts and more.

Outside the Office

While not working, Tom’s favorite activities are spending time with his wife and two children. A life-long supporter of St. Louis’ cultural attractions and heritage, Tom frequently supports civic institutes such as the St. Louis Zoo, the St. Louis Art Museum, and the St. Louis Science Center. Tom is a dedicated fan of the St. Louis Cardinals and St. Louis Blues and tries to take in as many games as he can with his family.
